01
Protect the sculpt's visual priorities
Identify the face, hair, clothing folds and other features that define the character. Review where parts divide and where seams or assembly joints can be accepted. Mark the preferred viewing direction rather than assuming every surface has the same visual priority.
02
Match materials to individual parts
PVC and ABS can be considered as part of the component plan; ITTAK produces these components in-house. Review rigidity or flexibility, connection geometry, finishing and the support needed for the pose. No single material choice guarantees resistance to deformation for every design.
03
Make paint approval specific
Distinguish molded color from painted surfaces and printed details. Define color references, gloss levels, facial detail placement and approved sample views. A painted prototype is a useful reference, but production approval needs agreed criteria for the actual manufacturing process.
04
Plan support and safe pack-out
Discuss the base, attachment points, protruding accessories and areas exposed to handling. Review fit and display position on representative samples. Confirm whether parts ship installed or separately protected, with clear assembly instructions where needed.
